Derek Lee Opti Championships

Derek Lee Opti Regatta is a full-day event with up to four races and an awards ceremony recognizing the top three performers and the top female competitor.

Established in memory of Derek Lee, a dedicated supporter of junior sailing, this regatta is an annual event organized by Hope Town Junior Sailing (HTJS) to provide young sailors with a taste of formal racing and marks the end of the sailing season for a summer break which runs each Saturday starting in October. For the first time, the Derek Lee Opti Championships is coordinated with Regattas in The Abacos (RiTA) and will be held in Little Harbour this year.
