We’re excited to welcome sailors back to the turquoise waters of the Sea of Abaco for another unforgettable week of racing, cruising, and island celebrations. Below you’ll find everything you need to register, plan your route, and prepare for race week.

Participating in RITA takes commitment — from preparing your vessel to planning the crossing, provisioning your crew, and covering cruising permit and travel costs. We understand what it takes to make the trip.
That’s why we offer early registration incentives to help offset upfront expenses and encourage captains to start planning early.
Our goal is to keep the tradition accessible while showing appreciation for the loyal skippers and crews who return to the Abacos year after year — and to welcome new boats looking to experience one of the most enjoyable regatta series in the islands.
Register by March 31 to secure the current discounted entry rate.
Race classes include Multihull, Spinnaker, Non-Spinnaker, and Mother Tub.
The Mother Tub class is for boats equipped for cruising that do not usually race competitively. No spinnakers or other specialty sails are allowed, and handicaps assigned by the Race Committee may be adjusted from race to race to afford all Mother Tub yachts an equal opportunity to win.
You can also register as a spectator boat to join in all the fun!
The registration fee is non-refundable if you're unable to attend. We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible while maintaining fairness for all participants and efficiently managing event logistics.
